Thurrock Rally – 9th October 2011
This was our first rally of the season and yet again we had a wonderful time and the weather stayed dry and even sunny despite the forecasts! All teams played really well.
Thunder (U11s), Cyclone (U13s), and our Under 16 squad played a ‘Round Robin’ Tournament playing every team in their age group. There were a lot of games (8 to 10 each overall) and all teams played really well! Strangely enough they all finished fifth in their respective groups!
The U12s (Mistral) and U14s (Storm) were split into two pools with semi-finals and finals deciding the winner and runner up. Both our teams played well and just missed out in qualifying for the semi’s.
Well done to everyone! What a good start to the new season!
